At first, I thought it was just me. Now, I am not so sure, it just might be all the whackos out there. What I mean is, people are changing, and they are forcing the whole world to change with them. When I was young, we used to make fun that Thursday was queer’s night down at the local bus station. Well, as a kid I would not really know, it was just what other kids use to say. The idea that there were gay people out there was something you heard about but probably never came into contact with. That was the sixties for you. Now of course, its pretty much “in your face” everywhere. It is supported by corporations, Hollywood, TV, taught in schools, accepted in the military, it’s even on our kids TV programs. It is in our churches, on our college campuses, and it is gaining strength as a political movement as well. Along with this movement is one aspect that I find very strange and that is all the commotion about deciding to change one’s gender. I sorry, but if you were born one gender, what makes you think that you can just up and change your gender because you want to? There are not enough drugs and enough surgery that can completely change you totally from one gender to another. No way, and besides, it will still be coded in your DNA. You can not change that.

This idea of not being satisfied with how God made you is not new. Lucifer suffered the same affliction. I do not mean that he wanted to change from a boy angel to a girl angel, no, what I mean is that Lucifer did not want to be what God had made him to be either. Think of it like this, when Lucifer was created, he did not have to go to angel school to learn how to talk or learn reasoning skills or learn to debate or anything. When he was created, God made him fully functioning and fully cognizant with a divine purpose already built in. He did not have to go to job seminars to find out what he was good at and apply for different openings in heaven, he was created with a job. Well, he did not want to do his job, he wanted a different job and so rebelled against what God had made him to be. (And do) As if that were not bad enough, he convinced a lot of other angels to drop their positions and job assignments in favor of being able to choose for themselves what they wanted to do…in short, they all rebelled.

I can not help but see a great similarity here. In fact, I see a tremendous amount of rebellion in a number of different categories. People are rebelling over traditional marriage. They are re-designing family. There is a rebellion against police authority. (Defund the police) There is a rebellion against traditional views of sex as belonging in marriage. There is a rebellion against teacher authority in schools, parental authority, in fact there is a general rebellion (or lack of respect) against any kind of authority which even includes Biblical authority when presenting God’s truth. I guess Lucifer was not happy with just leading some angels in rebellion, I think he has been busy here too. It seems that the idea of changing your gender just might be another type of rebellion against God (Not wanting to be what he made you to be) I just might be more amazed at God’s patience through all this. Yet, the Scripture says that a day of wrath is coming. In fact, He is storing up his wrath to be poured out all at once. So, if His patience is prevailing but He is not pleased with how humans are rebelling, then it makes me wince to think that His wrath is amassing and will break forth during the Tribulation and will mark the Terrible Day of the Lord. I know that today, people think that they have the right and the power to do or be whatever they want and that they can determine their own person and design their own culture and change the whole world to suite themselves. Just remember this, Lucifer has done the same, you are just following in his footsteps and will likely end up in the same place as him…. “And God cast Satan into the lake of fire prepared for him and his followers.”
